Grateful Hearts and & Cozy Moments: What I’m Thankful For This Season

In a world that moves fast and demands more from us every day, it’s easy to get caught up in the rush. We chase goals, juggle responsibilities, and sometimes forget to pause long enough to appreciate the beauty already surrounding us.

That’s why gratefulness and thankfulness are more than simple emotions—they’re powerful practices that shape our mindset, elevate our joy, and shift our entire life perspective. Plus-it’s contagious. 😍

What Gratefulness Really Means

Gratefulness is more than saying “thank you.” It’s a deep awareness of the blessings, connections, and moments that support, intertwine, and uplift us.

Thankfulness: Gratitude in Action

If gratefulness is the feeling, thankfulness is the expression. It’s the outward show of appreciation—spoken words, acts of kindness, loving gestures, and giving back to others.

Final Thoughts

Every year, I anticipate what the new year will bring. I always hope for growth because I never want to remain in the same place as the year before. Growth can be painful sometimes, but it is necessary. Sometimes it’s heartbreak, and sometimes it’s everything in between.

This year, I reached the milestone of turning 50 years old! I am so grateful to God for it. I also celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary. God has been present every step of the way, and I am beyond grateful.

My parents are in their 70s and still in good health. My three adult children are doing well in life, and I’m proud of the good and decent people they’ve grown into. I have one son just starting high school and three granddaughters — I am beyond blessed. Every hug, kiss or text from friends and loved ones, I am appreciative.

Every day has not been easy, but there has not been one day that I couldn’t list something to be grateful for. Even in the moments that felt overwhelming, God reminded me that His grace is enough and His strength carries me. Gratitude has taught me to slow down and appreciate the beauty hidden inside the ordinary. It has reminded me to look at my life not through the lens of what’s missing, but through the lens of what’s present, growing, and unfolding.

I want to personally thank everyone who has visited my website and supported my business. Thank you so much for your support. From my family to yours, I wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

I don’t know what your year has been like, but I can imagine you’ve survived so much. You’ve grown through things that were meant to break you. You’ve held on through storms you never saw coming. And yet — you’re still here. There is so much to be grateful for, and even more on the way.💛
